I know it’ll be a busy one and that both John and I have to work at various points during it, but this is just one of those weeks during which I more or less kept my sights on Friday afternoon. That’s not to say I did nothing (please excuse the double negative). Lots was accomplished over the past four or five days (floors mopped, spots on carpet cleaned, bathrooms cleaned, playdough used, several hundred dollars worth of artwork stock completed, dogs walked and trained, sink sprayer fixed – thanks Bob & Sylvia!) It’s been a productive week. Nevertheless, it’s just seemed that the whole point of this week was to get through it. Dunno why some are like that and others aren’t. Part of it is that this is a long weekend, although that simply seems mainly to provide more scope for chaos than a normal weekend. Most of it is having John around. Can you believe it? After 11 years of living together (11 years this weekend!) and 9 years of marriage, he’s still my favorite person with whom to spend time, even more so now than before. I suspect this is a good thing.
