Sometimes they just get it exactly right. Since trying to juggle work, kid, house, dogs, John and other things in life, I make lists that can be worked through quickly. I no longer “do laundry”, but “gather laundry, gather towels, take downstairs, start washer, dry laundry, fold, put away” in separate steps. And I have “plan day” at the top of the list and cross it off when the list has been made. Right.
This is so true! I always start my lists with ‘make list’! Grin
This has be since peri-menopause. My mind is swiss cheese. However, I have never started the list with that “make list” thing. That is a brilliant step.
I’d start with ‘find pencil”–except if i have that i don’t need to list it, and if i can’t find the pencil, then i can’t start the list:} i win either way!
I’d have to add somewhere..’make list of places where I’ve put list’ coz I always forget where I’ve put the list, or forget to take it with me, in fact I place pieces of A4 paper with huge writing on them to remind me what I have to do, at places in the home I know I will pass at some stage….
