Clearly I have some catching up to do. Flat Katherine has been travelling hither and yon for quite some time and I haven’t told you what she has been up to.
I owe you at least two posts, maybe three, so here’s the first one, concerning Flat Katherine’s return to Newfoundland.
When last you saw her, she was in Florida, with 3-D Katherine’s grandparents. Since then she has wended her way home via Myakka River State Park, Florida, where she explored the canopy walk (the full set of photos is here):

And ate lunch with friends:

Then she and 3D-K’s grandparents visited Herrmann’s Royal Lipizzan Stallions at the winter training ranch near Myakka City, FL. Since 3D Katherine is quite enthusiastic about animals, she really enjoyed seeing Flat Katherine’s visit with these amazing horses.

I’m sorry it took me so long to get these posted. 3D Katherine looked at the photos and heard of the adventures right away (of course), but I simply hadn’t sat down and put the posts together until now. Flat K really enjoyed the Florida trip, though, so I knew I had to get myself organized and write up the log.
But I can hear you thinking, “But that was in April. Where did Flat Katherine go after she got home?”
THAT is an excellent question.
Firstly, she took a small break and went into 3D Katherine’s school to visit with the kids there and then she went on a very exciting and very long trip to the other side of the world.
More on that in the next day or so. (The post is basically written, I just need to add links.)
Hang tight!
this reminds me of my little VW capmer bus which came with me nearly everywhere 🙂
