I’m not someone who wants to be at the beck and call of a smartphone at all, but I now have one, nonetheless. We needed a,second cellphone in the family,for while I’m gone and I wanted one with a real keyboard so that communication with John would be,easier.

I also was reluctant to leave this blog dormant for a full month, preferring to be able to make short posts occasionally. So I have this device now and am stripping off the junk and distractions (like Facebook) and adding apps like this WordPress blogging app. I’m still not entirely sold, but we’ll see how it goes.
