Must book the two days following (one for reading, one for catching up on sleep) to finish the series! That is, if John doesn’t beat me to the copy we’ll buy!
I truly wonder what J.K. Rowling will write next….

Three guesses and the first two don’t count: Granny Bates Bookstore. It being the last book, we’ll have to come to the party this time, especially since the kid who wasn’t born when the first book was published is now old enough to bring along. Should be a blast.
I was just talking to the folks at Granny Bates and they’re not sure what the party situation will be. In fact, the words “cold sweat” were used at the mere idea of such a thing.
I’ll post more when Ifind out what is going on where. Chapters will undoubtedly have something on the go, but the Granny Bates party was simply stupendous. Hopefully they’ll decide to give it a go.
I’m to call back in a month for an update.
If they do it, I’m going to volunteer to help out in some way. Such a huge effort needs lots of hands….
I was at the last Granny Bates party. It was a fantastic time and the kids there looked like they were having a blast. Granted, I nearly died because of Sean Panting (who insisted on reading the first paragraph of the book before handing it out. I was standing next to him getting pictures. I thought the kids were going to tear him apart), but I had a good time.
The funny thing is that the books are handed out at midnight and 15 minutes later the place is empty, with the exception of a few kids (and adults) sitting on the floor reading the book because they can’t wait to to get home to start.
Woo hoo! In July the horcruxes die!!!
