Yesterday, while Tamar was getting settled at the hospital and things were more in the waiting than participating stages, Flat Katherine and I went a-wandering and found Charlie’s Chocolate Factory. Now there was no way that I would have been allowed to walk right on past that one!

We ventured inside and found a really neat store, filled with all sorts of wonderful goodies and some VERY nice chocolate. Charlie was delighted to meet Flat Katherine and talked all about how much he had enjoyed his trip to Newfoundland last year!

Charlie no longer actually runs the factory. I believe he said that one of his descendants currently keeps the business going, but Charlie told me that he still does his favourite part; talking to custmers and giving kids tours.
